Pepperwood is a critically endangered rainforest tree from the highest peaks of Queensland's Wet Tropics, related to cinnamon, with leaves and twigs that smell peppery when crushed. It is not a common garden plant, so growing it is mainly a matter of cool, moist, sheltered conditions suited to highland rainforest.
